I wonder if the world will ever be free of it's knee-jerk reaction to the male body.

 Hello Jonathan..

First..

I would like to reference a line from the Starz series Da Vinci's Demons (season 1 episode 6)..

"Hell happens when the evil of this world exceeds our belief that we can conquer it."

Next..

I want to reference the first know democracy to appear in our history.. Athens Greece around 500 BC.

To symbolize the newly established democracy, Cleisthenes commissioned the sculptor Antenor to produce a bronze statue group of Harmodius and Aristogeiton. It was the first commission of its kind in that it was the first statue to be paid for out of public funds. And it was the first non-hieroglyphic naturalistic human form to appear in our history of art. This was a statue of two male lovers.. nude!

My point..

Since the beginning of civilization Nude Male Art has brought about.. Renovation, democracy, and justice.. in that nude male art requires the observer to embrace something that seems difficult for people today.. Seeing the male body beautifully represented in art requires the observer to embrace honesty.

Jonathan please remember..

"The World" has not always had a problem w/ the male body. And not everyone in the world today has a problem w/ such honesty.
